At 32, I'm a journeyed talent in videography, video editing and voice work, with a flair for writing and an insatiable love for movies. Unlike most kids dreaming of becoming paleontologists or astronauts, I was captivated by the world of cinema from very early on. As a kid, at the age of 8, I stole my dad's old RCA home-video camera to go out and shoot a movie with my friends. My dad wasn't too happy that I took his camera out without asking, but when I showed him the footage he was impressed enough that eventually he just gave me the camera altogether. He couldn't win though; when I wasn't taking his camera for a spin, I was swiping DVDs from his collection and watching them obsessively. This obsession and love has led me to a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every frame, cut, sound, and spoken word contributes to the overarching narrative. This allows me to produce visually and emotionally resonant content, and when I'm not behind the camera or screen, I'm in front of the microphone as a voice actor, at the page as a writer, or at the helm as a dad.Photography

Heather Ainsworth (she/her) is a documentary and editorial photographer based in Ithaca, New York. Ainsworth uses a digital single-lens reflex camera for all her work as well as exceptional interpersonal skills to make her subjects feel as comfortable as possible. A self-described outsider, Ainsworth is inspired by people who live authentically outside of society’s norms - those who firmly choose to live life on their own terms and in their ‘otherness’, despite societal pressure to do otherwise. Ainsworth’s work attempts to explore ideas of community, ‘otherness’ and the humanity that exists between both, to bring a greater understanding of their lives by keenly observing poignant moments of her subjects. Ainsworth is regularly commissioned by newspapers, magazines and educational institutions to tell sensitive yet compelling stories and portraits throughout New York state.Photography
