Abigail F. Taylor is a Texas poet and novelist of Indigenous and Irish descent. Inspired by the oral traditions of her elders, as well as a highly eclectic upbringing, it was only natural that she would fall in step with the family tradition of storytelling. She has a background in religious studies, history, poetry, and is currently learning to speak Dutch. She has studied under Pushcart Prize nominee Seamus M. Murphy and bestselling author M.R. Carey. After her work on the gore-comedy movie, THE DINOSAUR EXPERIMENT, as a script editor and assistant director, she pivoted her interests to creative writing. Her poetry has been published in Illya's Honey, 3Elements Review, and Sixfold Magazine, among others. Her growing collection of short stories can be found on Reedsy.com and has received an honorable mention in Globe Soup Historical Fiction Writing Contest. Her debut novella THE NIGHT BEGINS will be published in February 2023. Find her twitter: @AbigailFTaylor or her blog: abigailftaylor.wordpress.comPoetry
