There I led a team comprised of Tableau Developers, Data Analysts, and SSRS Developers that were the principal reporting resource for a division of UnitedHealth Group (UHG) that had a yearly operating budget of over $100 million. With demand being so high for reporting and analytics, I managed an offshore team based out of Ireland that handled most of our predictive modeling. My team and I owned all the reporting products. We set release dates for them, coordinated educational and training materials, and sat on the change management steering committee for our technology products at large. During this time: 1) Employee retention rates increased from 47% to 98.4% as a result of policy changes made 2) Our products were used on average by 732 unique users daily 3) Operational effectiveness increased by 78% over two years due to enhanced targeting supported by my team’s reports and analyses Many candidates will be more than capable of delivering high-quality work, but these notable characteristics set me apart from other candidates: 1) Leadership at a Fortune's 6 Company – Leading within such a large organization requires you to have an entrepreneurial quality that is not necessary to be successful within a smaller firm.
