Hi there, I currently work in cultivation, largely the vegetation stage as a propagation caretaker and aeroponic system technician on a commercial scale. I am an organized person who enjoys an active lifestyle, immersing myself in the community as a volunteer (Rocky Mountain Naturalists, The Legion, Canadian Cancer Society, and more). I curate mostly art history online. It all started as a leisurely hobby from an amalgamation of my interests and background in the North where I grew up. My grandpa was a refugee from Hungary, teacher and lingual anthropologist who seemed to keep my curios fully charged; my heart has continued to carry on his knowledges from the Inuit people. I intuitively started to write, create caption excerpts for art pieces/installations, research artists, cater to designers, entrepreneurs, and museums such as Stonington Gallery, Canadian Museum of History, Kitikmeot Heritage Society, Feheley Fine Arts Gallery, Nanooq Inuit Art, Gallery of the Northwest Coast, and working on more contributions to the West Baffin Co-operative and newly, the Mainly Museums webpage. Not to mention supporting local artists in my current area, one who I met from a pop-up gallery initiative, Sam Millard, and closer to home in my birthplace, a pointillist artist, Germaine Arnattaujuq. I love going to the local estuary and lake where I raised a native plant garden for the Naturalists, visiting the nearby creek and weir, on top of endlessly exploring the library, museum archives and catalogues, looking at vintage art and antiquities, while practicing yoga and enjoying my own garden at home. I am detail oriented and an independent self starter, willing to adapt, create a cooperative multifaceted work environment, with room for improvement and constructive criticism, in order for the team to succeed beyond our efforts to achieve a collective goal and reach. I have experience with Microsoft, am familiar with Adobe software, Google Workspace, Excel, and social media/web-based platforms. My critical thinking skills, diplomacy, and adaptability allow me to outsource journals, articles, (secondary and primary) collection databases (electronic and physical versions).
