(That is one of the essential issues in editing.); do you take offense at substantial edits? If so, we are not for you. I (Casey) have received strong editing of both of my published manuscripts, so I understand what an author goes through, putting their work into the hands of another. How we work; I print out your manuscript, take it to a coffee shop and read it with no marks, working on getting a good idea of your writing style. My wife does the same on her laptop. We then do a second read-through with the initial marks. Finally, I do a final read-through to confirm our edits or find anything we might have missed. With this milestone done, We submit it to you in Word with tracking and a review sheet. W will look at such things as clarifying and/or reorganizing a manuscript for content and structure.
