I grew up with a mother who edited reports for a living. As a result, she was pretty scrupulous with me anytime I wrote anything. She taught me, as best as she could, the correct way to write. I also was an avid reader as a child, sometimes reading 3 or 4 books at a time, switching to the next book after I had finished a chapter. It really helped me to appreciate great writing and also to learn about grammar and spelling. Before I had my family, I worked for 11 years in a clerical position at a title company. I often entered data into our system, proofread legal documents, and typed up emails for customer service. I currently am a learning guide for my son as he goes through online school. I present the curriculum to him and help him work through it. He is my greatest blessing and inspiration! I would love to use the skills that I have acquired over the years to work with others and help them complete the tasks that they have in their workload!
