I use my IoT Experience and construction experience to provide exceptional feedback as a QA Engineer to the development process of an IoT platform to bring sensor data to the cloud. From my position I supported the platform in very diverse stages: Hardware development, software development, needed features, what to improve and which technologies are currently being implemented. I also worked as a QA Engineer for DIA Group, where I contributed to the automated testing process of a very complex WMS setup that is being built from the ground up for the eCommerce. This includes refining user stories, set test plans, define and implement automated tests using Karate, do functional tests and e2e tests based on the needs of each flow and improving the testing process in the way, so everything comes to deployment fully tested. I am now the Lead QA Engineer for Certainly, a bot company that will make sure e-commerce gets a leverage. I defined the entire QA process from the ground up, working close with business to make sure the goal is deliverable. I am also working as a release manager, making sure all delivered code is freezed, reviewed and validated before deploying it to production. We are able to deliver features when done as the e2e test implementations are already done and we only need to validate new features. We also automate the testing process using Playwright and Cucumber to make sure the features are described using Gherkin syntax. This allows us to escalate the tests on demand. We do load testing with gatling to make sure the platform is capable of scaling as users demand more capacity of the application. Finally the application bugs are reported and replicated by QA to make sure this is covered in a future regression and the functionality is not compromised by new features.
