I have passionately followed the development of recent years, which culminated in the triumph of cloud infrastructures and container orchestrations, right from the start. An essential - because indispensable - valued paradigm that flanked all of this was the imperative for the greatest possible automation of the deployment processes through pipelining and the definition of the infrastructure as code. With the latest developments, I expect a significant transformation of the current IT development landscape towards a democratization of corporate knowledge and its electronic processing, especially from the NoCode initiatives - and at the same time I keep an interested eye on the developments in data science and AI, an old preference from student days, which - even though I was no longer quite young - pushed me back onto the university desk.
