Achievements:
The United Development Programme (UNDP): I coordinated the implementation of activities for a $ 600,000 project with multiple implementing partners (United Nations Food Agriculture Organisation, United Nations World Food Programme, Water Resource Management Authority and Ministry of Agriculture), resulting in improved food security and income generation benefiting over 19,200 small-scale farmers.
Global Health Corps: I used my strategic planning, project management, research, and evaluation skills to successfully manage the health and nutrition interventions in three districts under the Zambia Female Youths Livelihood and Nutrition Enhancement project. This improved the health status of approximately 7000 female youths aged 10-21 and about 2000 children had access to Growth Monitoring Promotion leading to better health outcomes and reduced malnutrition rates among target beneficiaries.
African Population and Health Research Center: I conducted an extensive qualitative and quantitative study to improve the effectiveness of community-based parenting empowerment programs. This study involved focus group discussions with primary and secondary caregivers, in-depth interviews with early childhood development promoters, community leaders, and project promoters, and transcribing recorded audio for analysis.
Center for Infectious Diseases in Zambia: I initiated a sustained, active health facility and community-based TB case detection in high-burden settings of six communities through a time and motion study, which reached approximately 1800 clients. This research significantly improved TB case detection rates and reduced TB spread in the communities.
Ukadzipalile Integrated Project: Improved people's standard of living in 5 communities, translating to 1,200 community beneficiaries through project interventions in gardening, poultry, and cotton farming, resulting in improved food security, income generation and enhanced health and nutrition for target communities.
