    In 2012, I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Design in Architecture degree, I began my professional life with a position in research building management. Through this position, I learned everything about these research spaces - what makes a good one, what makes a bad one, what they require, what the options are, and what maintaining these spaces looks like. After about 6 years in that position, I shifted my primary focus back to architecture by working for a specializing in designing and furnishing research spaces - first in Minneapolis, then in Seattle (where I am located currently). These labs range from government, to university/academic, to corporate labs, learning the ins and outs of all kinds of different requirements and design options for these spaces. I now oversee our design team for my region, and I'm now looking to do some side work to expand both my experience and my salary.
