My name is Melanie, I'm a creative Front-End Developer with 8+ years of experience working with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React and WordPress to build responsive websites, apps, and interactive features. After graduating from university, I worked at a company called BroadbandTV for 2 years. During my time there I created 17 new websites for the company’s high profile clients, among them, the Huffington Post, HooplaKidz and BMG, as well as maintaining all 23 BroadbandTV websites. I also developed an internal app, which helped onboarding new YouTube partners. After BBTV, I worked for a company called Parasail Health in San Francisco for almost 2 years where I was the main Front-End developer. Besides working on the company's main app and site, I built a custom micro CSS framework to assist other developers on the team in writing front-end code. The framework was featured in the FrontEnd Focus newsletter in Issue 275. Since February 2018 I've been working as a freelance Front-End developer and UI/UX designer. I have worked on various projects during that time, mainly creating new websites and apps for my clients using React, Wordpress, and Django.Sass

Hi, I am a senior JavaScript developer. What sets me apart are my excellent communication skills and the ability to grasp complex/abstract ideas and convert them into clean and maintainable code. I have been working as a javascript engineer for the past 5 years, among which 3 have been on Angular JS. I have had the privilege of redesigning and creating complete Angular applications from scratch putting in best practices, making as robust and scalable as possible. In my last major project, I was responsible for the complete refactoring of an AngularJs code-base, replacing the conventional ngRoute with ui-router in a project having more than 65 states. This conversion was a minor step towards our migration to Angular 8, and hence after this; I lead a team of 3 developers, revamped the code-base from normal angularJs ES5 based components into ES6 class-based components. This followed the integration of ng-hybrid and the migration process started. I have a knack of writing clean and maintainable code, and for this, I religiously follow John Papa's guidelines for Angular JS. For general JS concepts and clean code, my past 2 books are: 'Clean Code' and 'Javascript the Good parts'. Recently, I started another personal project using angular 8, and you can see a bit of my coding style: GitHub | user: umer0114 | repo: HRAS-admin Also, after giving a presentation on ngRX (redux) at my current company I am nowadays implementing redux in our migrated application. This is a small NGRX snippet I prepared to help in my presentation: GitHub | user: umer0114 | repo: ngrx-angular Also, I keep on improving my technical skills mostly on Udemy, and this is the last project I created in React. GitHub | user: umer0114 | repo: burger-application-react Recently, I gave a seminar on SSR integrated with i18n and this is the demo code-base I prepared for that: GitHub | user: umer0114 | repo: angular-universal-i18n I truly believe in work commitment and quality and assure the best efforts from my side. Looking forward to interviewing you. Regards, UmerSass
