I'm an award-winning screenwriter with degrees from USC School of Cinematic Arts (M.F.A. Film and Television Production, 2012) and Columbia University (B.A. Film Studies and Archaeology, 2007). Early in my career, I served as a script reader at multiple production companies and as a story analyst at the Sundance Institute. Thereafter, I spent five years working as an editor for features and TV for a host of clients, including Warner Bros Discovery, before transitioning into a full-time writing career. In 2017, I finished as a top 10 finalist in the Script Pipeline Competition for my screenplay NIX, co-written with Jesse Keller. That same year, NIX was a finalist for the Tracking Board Launch Pad and ranked as one of the year's best feature scripts on the annual Young & Hungry List. NIX is currently in development with Industry Works Productions, in partnership with Blue Rider Pictures and Untapped Entertainment. My second feature collaboration with Jesse, BREAKDOWN, was named a top 20 finalist by the Roadmap Writers Jumpstart Competition. The script is currently in development with Blue Rider Pictures. Beginning in late 2019, Jesse and I worked with Zero Gravity (Netflix's OZARK) as part of a feature development deal. In 2020, I wrote the feature CRAVING on assignment for producer Jim Strong, and in 2021, I served as story editor on the critically acclaimed feature documentary ONLY IN THEATERS. Most recently, I have expanded into digital streaming, with a writing portfolio that includes nonfiction, short-form video and advertising. I pride myself on being a versatile and adaptable writer. Storytelling takes many forms, but its principles are timeless and universal. My goal as a writer is to draw on those principles and adapt them.
