My name is Beverley Catlett, and I have over five years of experience in the CBD and cannabis industries in Content Writing, Marketing, and Sales. My former employers range from industry leaders such as Hemplucid, Elixinol, and Ananda Professional, to dozens of startups and mid-sized brands whose efforts I have sustained from launch through various phases of development. I have a specialized research background in cannabis, and an in-depth knowledge of cannabis compounds, products, and delivery formats, as well as unmatched industry experience and expertise. I am experienced in writing virtually all types of web content; internal and external marketing content; and other marketing materials. I have helped successful, established brands rewrite and rebrand entire websites, and I have helped several startups launch by writing their websites from scratch in collaboration with my team.
I entered the industry in 2017 as a Consultant Content Writer for Hemplucid, where I was hired on the basis of my specialized knowledge of CBD, consumer insights, and research background to help the company recreate its website. I consulted with the marketing team on a weekly basis about the need for more education, explanation, and emphasis on specific points of appeal on each product page; the need for more frequent blog posts that attended both to the basic foundations of CBD consumer knowledge (the endocannabinoid system, CBD vs. THC, etc), as well as emerging trends and queries about CBD for specific people, problems, and purposes; and spearheaded an Education Center, now “Hemplucid University,” for which I wrote all content and guided content strategy. Ever since, I have performed similar duties for dozens of employers in the industry, from startups to established brands.

Alongside my work as a Content Writer, I have 4 years’ experience in Lead Development and Sales for various CBD and cannabis brands. During this time, I gained a comprehensive background in both B2B and B2B sales, as well as telesales and direct sales in a brick-and-mortar setting. I specialize in lead development, and use my research capabilities to identify prospects that appropriately match the budget, appeal, and product needs of my company. I can typically generate dozens of leads in a day’s time, and I communicate with all connections thoroughly to ensure close or maintain engagement until the client is ready to close.
