I have a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of South Carolina. As part of my doctoral program, I researched and completed a doctoral dissertation on software and modern communication theory to discuss modern conceptions of collaboration and technology. I have been published in several peer-reviewed collections and journals while also teaching professional and technical writing and speech communication for 7+ years. I also have multiple years of experience as a project manager for a major research project spanning the Departments of English and Computer Science. Prior to my doctoral program, I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Southern Illinois University, where I also minored in Computer Science.
