By helping provide opportunities for children to learn to swim and supporting athletes at the highest level, the USA Swimming Foundation works to strengthen the sport of swimming from grassroots to gold medals. To meet the client's objectives, I designed a research project that would seek only those foundations that were not already proponents of the Swimming Foundation. Additionally, I needed to create a research model that would be nationwide in scope and yield significant results. The research project yielded many prospective grantmakers throughout the United States, each with a particular interest in Swimming and the U.S. Olympic Swimming team.
