My work does not merely focus on increasing traffic to your website, it is also about making sure that your website’s content, UX/UI and call to actions are appealing, functional and optimized to convert that traffic, on Desktop and Mobile devices.
I use SEO audit software, but I am not obsessed nor sole rely on them. An automated audit completed by using a software cannot detect all technical issues, and certainly will not detect all functional issues; the latter can be detected by manually inspecting the website. Such issues are detrimental to the user experience, and are not taken lightly by Google’s ranking algorithms.
I primarily focus on optimizing content and on-page SEO. A low page or website authority metric may pressure you to prioritize on backlink strategies, when the real benefits can come (for example) from SEO’ing your web pages (on-page SEO) and waiting for others to link back to the SEO’d web pages because they are easily found in the SERP’s, and because they contain unique and semantic content. Those backlinks will come for free, and in the meanwhile you will have SEO’d your website. SEOing your web pages may also involve extending content or creating new content to cover specific topics. Not all backlinks are reliable. All that said, it is essential to get backlinks from specific websites, but my SEO and content strategies do not place priority on backlinking.
