I have a long and detailed professional experience that has been particularly helpful in applying my previous experience in the construction industry at various levels gave me the opportunity to work with suppliers, designers, engineers and architects to create innovative ways as to how our knowledge could be applied both hands on and intellectually to finding solutions to their needs. My time in the film industry I applied this knowledge as a set decorator, finding not only satisfaction of being involved in more detailed creativity, but also finding that my previous experience and detailed problem solving, help me to find innovative solutions in tight time frames and even tighter budgets. I am currently a design graduate of the Academy of Learning out of Vancouver, BC with remote courses taken through Arizona's Sessions College trained in Adobe suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. This includes training in colour, topography, logo design and printing. I've also been previously trained and have had the opportunity to apply my real World knowledge in Microsoft office, as well as business administration, customer service and marketing. I have been fortunate enough to have worked on projects for some of Canada's and America's leading brands across the entire visual spectrum - from print and web, to film and advertising - from PepsiCo, to Death Row Records. As a designer, my goal is to bring forth the best possible solution through thoughtful design in both digital and physical mediums that are visually striking and meaningful while pushing myself to grow in this rapidly evolving industry. With tight deadlines and multiple projects on the go, I strive to ensure every expectation is exceeded. In my past experience, banners, brochures, business cards, product design, and signage were all part of my daily life - but this has now evolved into something more. While print is still prevalent in my life, I am now creating high-fidelity product prototypes, leading marketing campaigns such as e-blasts and video content for social media, and maintaining front-end development and visual content for websites.SignageSocial Media AdvertisingVideo EditingPromotional VideoProduct DesignCards & FlyersShopifyPackage GraphicsPhoto RetouchingLogo DesignGraphic DesignBranding & MarketingBrandingBrand DevelopmentIllustration - $30 hourly
