As an aspiring artist myself I have focused heavily on this side of the music creation process. This is where I spend most of the time, from getting the right recordings to tuning the vocals to the right pitch and cleaning them up, not only using autotune but also being surgical with the process and alignment. Writing the right lyrics that not only create a depth of meaning to the song but also that give the right sounding melody to the listener is crucial to a great song. Pairing this with digital and analog plugins, helps me create excellent sounding tracks.
