BBC TV’s The Culture Show featured me as one of the year's best new novelists. I have since written for BBC Radio and for literary collections and print magazines. I have a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from the University of the West of Scotland. While completing my doctorate I taught writing to undergraduates, and I now mentor authors for the Scottish Book Trust.
