I am a translator and language teacher from the USA who has lived and worked in Spanish-speaking countries for over 4 years, and in Japan for 6 years. I have N2 level certification in Japanese, and a significant work history of English-Spanish translation. I am efficient and organized, and finish projects very quickly, and wide experience from legal documentation to creative writing, from written projects to translation of audio. As an English teacher, I have worked for 10 years, teaching from beginners to advanced speakers from Asia and Latin America, and hold a 120-hour TEFL degree from ITTT. For illustration, I am breaking into the field, so far creating illustrations for several projects, most recently CD covers, pamphlets, and concert advertisements for the Tokyo based musician SueMarr, whose music is featured in the Netflix series Midnight Diner. I also created the character sketches for the company Veintiuno when they were in the process of casting actors for their feature length 2023 film, Pirú. My style and mediums are flexible, from black and white pen drawings, to gouache or watercolor landscapes, with subjects ranging from portraits to animals to food.
