I am a life-long educator, editor, and writer. My poetry has appeared in The American Poetry Review, Copper Nickel, Colorado Review, Poetry Northwest, Best New Poets, and elsewhere. After the Cubs won the World Series in 2016, I wrote a commemorative magazine on behalf of Mojo Media. I've been a literary editor for nearly 20 years now. I founded Pusteblume: A Journal of Translation when I was 20, was the managing editor of Poetry Northwest for 4 years, and have been on the editorial staff for another 8 literary journals, including Narrative, Pleiades, The Iowa Review, and RHINO. I was also a judge for many years of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. I've been a personal editor to a number of MA and PhD students, and am very accustomed to proofing and revising academic papers with quick and efficient turnaround.
