I am a driven business professional with 19 years of experience in technology and business consulting, serving a diverse range of clients across the United States and beyond. My career began in the Chicago Loop in September 2000 as an IT Risk Consultant with Arthur Andersen, where I assessed IT controls related to business processes impacting financial statements and earned certification in Siebel software. Following the Enron collapse, I transitioned to Deloitte's Audit and Consulting practices, where I specialized in IT auditing as well as in Siebel application development. I quickly built connections in the Consulting practice, taking on dual roles in IT Audit and Consulting. My primary client was Eli Lilly in the pharmaceutical sector, and I also contributed as a subject matter expert (SME) in Deloitte’s Siebel sales meetings. In 2004, I joined Accenture’s Siebel practice in Denver, working with high-profile technology clients such as Microsoft, EchoStar, and BEA Software. I also spent three months in Bangalore, India, on a contract with XM Satellite Radio. While at Accenture, I actively participated in pre-sales meetings and client presentations. In 2006, I was recruited by CSC for a yearlong contract with the Australian Government’s Immigration Department, serving as an Actuate reporting lead and Siebel SME, monitoring detention centers across the continent. In 2009, I earned an MBA in Finance and an MS in Business Intelligence—along with a mountain of student loans. That same year, during the recession, I joined a small firm, iOLAP, near Dallas as a senior consultant. Over the next seven years, I worked remotely from Bloomington, IN, supporting clients such as Gap, AT&T, and Cablevision. The firm's leadership was incredibly flexible, allowing me to maintain a remote work setup for six of those seven years. In 2012, I met my wife, and we now have two young children. The consulting lifestyle became less practical for my growing family, so in 2017, I transitioned to Indiana University. Currently, I am a Principal Software Engineer on IU’s Enterprise Business Intelligence team, working with Tableau, Oracle, and Denodo to support administrative decision-makers. Since joining IU, I have been leading the integration of predictive analytics across the university, driving innovation, and spearheading product development for decision support initiatives.SQL
