I have been working in both chemistry and creative writing for over twenty years. Chemistry: My experience in chemistry spans and industry and academia. I have been an industrial analytical chemist, science writer, trainer/educator of adults, laboratory information systems administrator, SAP QM Key User, and chemical hygiene officer (chemical safety). As a science writer, I have written chemical explanations and summaries for external customers; laboratory and SAP standard operating procedures; capital expenditure justification; scientific translation from German to English; and more. I have also copy-edited scientific research papers and graduate school applications.
