I'm a former high-growth tech startup co-founder & executive leader, currently providing independent growth strategy and management strategy consulting to startups and Fortune 100 corporations in the technology, digital marketing, financial services, public works, and non-profit sectors through my growth strategy consulting firm, Rocket Strategy.
My most recent projects over the last two years include:
1.) Leading enterprise solution commercialization strategy and execution efforts for Panasonic North America, a Fortune 100 tech corporation, by working cross-organizationally within the US company as well as internationally to develop a new technology solutions business unit, product line, go-to-market strategy, and organizational process roadmap for Panasonic North America - resulting in the successful acquisition of (3) Fortune 500 restaurant and retail clients and exceeding the Panasonic's revenue target for the business unit by $5 million for the year. Panasonic was formerly a partner of the startup I co-founded, and they asked me to join them later as a consultant to drive internal change management efforts after the partner work I did with them from the other side generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for them within 2 years.
2.) Performing deep business analytics and marketing research to develop a new multi-year revenue and operations strategy to support investor fundraising efforts for a high-growth technology company, as well as developing a new growth operations division, training the new head of growth ops, establishing a corporate culture and public image improvement strategy, developing a new talent acquisition strategy and sourcing and screening a new head of talent for the business. These efforts resulted in a more stable and sustainable business model, improved talent acquisition capabilities, increased ability to initiate and manage multiple business development and growth projects, and a more appealing investment opportunity pitch to present to potential investors (to land investment of $100 million or more).
3.) Developing a business plan, product and branding strategy, and operations and hiring plan to lead the launch of an Australia-based fintech startup.
4.) Developing a digital marketing strategy, product development roadmap, and customer acquisition and conversion test plan for a software startup based in Spain that resulted in a 100% increase in lead generation and lead-to-paid subscription conversion rates in less than one month.
5.) Developing a brand identity and services refresh for a branding, product development, and digital marketing consultancy to aid in higher-value customer acquisition efforts and to make the business more sustainable in the long-term.
