As a graduate Confidential Secretary, I worked with the then Managing Director and some other TOP MANAGEMENT staff at the Head Office, (then at 40, Marina) Lagos. I was in practice for 10 years as a Confidential Secretary. I love challenges and so later branched out of Secretarial practice. Added to that, was my deep desire for more challenges and better career growth opportunities. I further got more job exposure, with a transfer to the Human Resources, (Recruitment & Manpower Planning) Department. In 1992, I fully opted for mainstream banking, attending several banking, computer, branch operations, marketing, managerial and other related training and courses. I also sat for the professional banking examination - The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and I hold the PART 1. I had worked at various branches and Head Office departments at various managerial levels/ranks and capacities, spanning close to three decades, until I voluntarily left the bank as a Senior Manager and Zonal Team Lead, in 2010. My special skills, however, are around communication: Public speaking, proofreading, writing, coaching, presenting, editing, formatting, self publishing and presentation. I have a great passion for writing. With a rich experience and various training working in UNION BANK OF NIGERIA PLC, one of Nigeria's oldest and biggest bans, I also have great passion for customer care and relationship management.
