    I have excellent analytical skill with my strongest areas being critical reasoning and verbal aptitude. I plan to train students on how to ace standardised tests such as the GMAT, GRE and the SAT. I have total scores in the 97 to 99th percentile on the two tests - a 740 on the GMAT and a 1520/1600 on the old GRE test. I thus have ideas on how to ace these tests ranging from skill in problem solving and critical reasoning, time management and critique of thought process errors that lead to sub-optimal test scores. I have gone through a lot of material including material on test structure and time management/pacing, actual test content and psychological issues that affect performance. African students score low on standardised tests on average (for example, EAC countries have average GMAT scores in the 430 - 460 range). The average score on the test is a 550. I believe the main reason for this is lack of sufficient support from coaches to guide the students. This is not a problem thaf test twkers in first world face. Indian and Chinese test takers also have ample support as each city has multiple training centres. These tests require preparation and support from a tutor who knows the test in and out and preferably one who obtained high test scores. High test scores are valued highly by the elite universities in many countries (USA, Canada, UK, Western Europe (elite European business schools such as INSEAD, ESADE, IE, IESE etc), India, Singapore and Australia). Getting a higher test score would also help one to get into a much better university (with better student outcomes, whether this is in the form of employment or a vibrant start up culture). Getting higher test scores increases the odds of acceptance at a better university and also the likelihood of landing a scholarship (which could be anything ranging from a tuition discount to a full scholarship). Good test scores also help in fitting in, in case the rest of the class got much higher test scores. I also train those travelling abroad who need good scores on the IELTS/TOEFL and the PTE. First world countries require high test scores in the IELTS for migrating nurses (Canada and the UK requre a 7). In this area, I intend to concentrate on reading and writing test sections. I am also a member of the ACCA.
