I am a certified Art and Photography teacher (K-12). My certification is based off Puerto Rico (Department of Education of Puerto Rico) and current until 2029. I am working on getting certified as an Art Teacher locally in Colorado where I currently reside. I was born in Puerto Rico so my native language is Spanish and my second language is English. I am fully bilingual. My academic education in the Air Force comprises of an intensive 2 month Public Affairs Qualification course taken at The Defense Information School (DINFOS) from 20 March 2019 - 23 May 2019. Official description of the course: A joint-service, performance-oriented course that includes extensive written and oral communication, strategic planning, staff coordination and research, and public affairs policies, tactics, techniques and procedures. Air Force specific topics included instruction in Air Force public affairs doctrine, information operations, command and public information, community relations, tactical public affairs planning, and long-range installation and headquarters level public affairs planning. During this course we spend weeks honing our proof-reading and copy editing skills as well as writing stories, press releases and performing live public speaking on assigned topics to include performing interviews and being the interviewee. I volunteered for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary for 5 years in San Juan Puerto Rico. As an appointed Secretary, one of my tasks was taking audio recordings from the meetings (1-3 hour meetings) and translate/transcribing those from Spanish to English on a Word document for historical documentation and to send the meeting information to those members that couldn't be present for the meetings. I was also a Finance officer and performed reviews of the finances of the Flotilla in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Other personal interests include business administration, stocks, forex, options, finance, museum management and art restoration. I have been a technology expert all of my life and transformed my love of technology into a career in sales and customer service for 17 years (2001-2018) before joining the Air Force. I have worked in numerous big US companies like Sears, Best Buy, Samsung and T-Mobile. I am returning to T-Mobile to work in sales in July 2022.
