Edwin was a teacher for over fifteen years and whose objective was to teach others communication skills,creative writing,reading skills and understand either English (ESL) or Spanish as a second language (ASL) his job consisted of the following: Research and create lesson plans for the defined curriculum. Prepare, conduct and grade assignments, tests and projects. Conduct classroom activities to increase student participation. Assign literature for students to read. Assign regular homework to improve student performance. Evaluate and draft student progress reports. Perform clerical jobs to meet organizational requirements. Meet student guardians to communicate their progress. Direct extra-curricular activities for students. His experience came from working in several private Schools or Academies in Latin America mostly with the American School Association and private Schools. He was also involved in creating a system to teach English as a Second Language that was very rewarding because the teachers chosen for the task were mostly the ones with better teaching record. But also spent endless hours translating documents for different organizations such as UNICEF and the Mexican Embassy in Central America and also have worked as an interpreter for organizations such MOSAIC, New Apostolic Church and immigration services Canada now I want to use my experience an knowledge in this platform to put my experience into use. Teaching hasn't always been his only experience but he was also involved with the IT industry in which he was into repairing computer systems in the City of Vancouver his job consisted in going to offices or homes to fix computer problems, his duties were: Setting up and installing new hardware and software systems. Diagnosing and troubleshooting computer issues. Maintaining hardware and software by conducting regular maintenance and updates. Identifying and resolving network, connectivity, and server issues. Upgrading firmware, software, and outdated hardware systems. Monitoring and maintaining security systems and installing updates. Providing technical support to users and resolving technical errors. Performing regular tests, upgrades, and backups. Preparing technical documents, such as error and maintenance reports.
