During my twenty years in Information Management, I have gained invaluable experience in working with technology, systems, and people. Although I may never have the same responsibilities as I had at AMSA, I believe the experience I have gained can be applied to numerous technical fields. Although I had a career in IM for most of my life, I have always had a passion for the written word. I am very interested in proofreading, copy-editing, and transcription, and find it immensely satisfying to correct and improve documents. I have done courses to further myself in these fields, and have done some online work and projects on request. I have also done official editing for the ADK. I have always loved Mathematics and am a passionate advocate for it. If I could, I would teach everybody to do it, and becoming a tutor was one of the most fulfilling choices I have ever made. I am curious by nature, and love to figure things out and to be creative. After I have been retrenched at the end of 2019, I have been involved in numerous and various projects, and exploring all these new avenues has truly been the most fun I have had in years. I see myself as an entrepreneur, willing and able to do a multitude of projects. Most of my work has been offline in both English and Afrikaans, and I would love to make the transition to online work.
