    Hello! I'm Lila Kouyate. I am a first-generation American born on October 28th, 2005, with roots in Guinea Conakry in West Africa. I often proofread essays for high school and college Students. I have recently directed a One Act play called "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon" with my best friend. I cut the script to about thirty minutes, auditioned middle school students to fill about thirty roles, and designed the programs. It was both of our jobs to schedule rehearsals, find a stage to perform, work with a stage manager to design a simple set with lights, props and music, stage and block the scenes, find costumes, and get the actors prepared to perform all within about 6-8 weeks. I also have dabbled in the world of graphic design and video editing. I have a few logos and design ideas, and I have workshopped a few website ideas. I have done costumes for the show "Alice in Wonderland", specifically the card soldiers, and the pigeon. I have done costumes for "The Play Called Noah's Flood". I pulled almost every piece with my friend and fellow classmate Arrie, and we altered and put together the costumes. During my first year studying costume design I assisted with the seagull pants for "The Little Mermaid". I also fully costumed the play that I chose to direct called "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon".
