    I entered the medical billing field around 8 years ago and it has since become a real passion. I am expertly experienced with full-cycle revenue management. I am very detail-oriented and have great prioritization skills. My previous experience has taught me to spot denial trends quickly and how to resolve them quickly and efficiently, only working the claim one time to ensure payment the first time. I have experience from claim submissions, resubmissions and corrected claims to authorizations and appeals. I am also well versed in verifying patient eligibility and benefits and checking in or out-of-network status to ensure you will be paid correctly for claims once processed. I have done credentialing for individual providers and groups for behavioral health and physical therapy providers for a total of 4 years in multiple states (TX, IL, ME, NH, NJ, NY, WA, OR, MN, and WI). I am highly experienced in credentialing, making sure the provider's CAQH profile is updated and has correct information. I also make sure to keep track of who was approved and the approval date for each provider. If there are any issues, I will reach out to the providers to obtain the needed information and submit it to the insurance within a timely fashion. I will also provide a spreadsheet showing the date of submission, any follow up, if necessary, provider ID (provided by different insurances once in-network for reference), and date of contract/credentialing completed. I can also provide a file for each provider with all applications submitted on file for review upon request. I have credentialed physical therapy and behavioral health providers with multiple insurances such as Aetna, Healthfirst, First Health, MagnaCare, Fidelis, BCBS, Medicare, Medicaid, HealthPartners, Ucare, Hennepin Health, PreferredOne, Optum and Cigna. I have also worked with smaller insurances and third-party payors such as Multiplan. Please ask about my contracting and credentialing rate if this is the service you are interested in as it differs from my billing rate.
