After a long stint with working in the social services field, Dr. Mizrachi has been dedicated to her career at UNLV. During the course of her tenure at UNLV, Dr. Mizrachi engages in a variety of responsibilities and professional activities by independently managing all of the complex administrative activities and functions. Her primary responsibility has involved the direction and management of all aspects of the Emergency and Crisis Management Master's program (ECM), ensuring positive internal and external communications and in building a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork, transparency, ethics, accountability, and high performance. In this capacity, she also serves as the Graduate Director for all students in the ECM program, and teaches courses in the Criminal Justice Department. Aside from teaching and research, Dr. Mizrachi has much experience implementing events, including talks and weekend sessions that involve managing different constituent groups and complex logistical planning. She has also assisted with a variety of activities for the Criminal Justice Department, and has been instrumental in the production of publications including RIBs and Stat Sheets for the Center for Crime and Justice Policy Center, developed department promotional materials in a variety of formats, as well as attended a variety of conferences, workshops, and trainings, and participated in various collaboration and networking opportunities. Furthermore, Dr. Mizrachi serves as the Administrator for the FBI Las Vegas Citizens Academy Alumni Association where she brings a broad range of relevant experience, along with a strong passion in the mission of the organization. As a native Las Vegan, Dr. Mizrachi has demonstrated a history of outstanding service to UNLV and the Las Vegas community. She has earned all of her degrees at UNLV, completed both graduate degrees as a single mom, and continues her tenure at UNLV with serving the Criminal Justice Department in a variety of capacities.
