I am a Computational linguist with a Ph.D. and can provide and design annotations and evaluate Natural Language Processing (NLP) software and resources. I can also review research papers, teach how to do that, edit research papers, edit LaTeX in Overleaf, and perform evaluations in the NLP/Computational linguistics field. I have extensive experience as a scientific researcher in the fields of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computational Linguistics.
I have experience in translating and writing reports in the NLP/Semantic Web field, as well as translating, writing, and evaluating research proposals for several funding bodies. I am also a quite active reviewer of conferences and specialized workshops, such as ACL, NAACL, IJCAI, EMNLP, AIST, RANLP, the CNL workshops, the Slavic NLP workshops, etc.

I can translate and have experience as a full-time translator and freelance translator for the following pairs of languages: from English, Italian, French, Russian into Bulgarian. From Bulgarian into English and Italian; From Russian into English and Italian; I can localize.
I can work on a variety of topics, but my special strengths are in science- and IT-related texts.
I can use SDL Studio 2019, MateCat, Smartcat, and terminology software. I can transcribe audio recordings, evaluate the quality of translations, evaluate the output of machine translation engines, post-edit, edit, and proofread. I can proofread mainly for Bulgarian, but also if needed for English and Italian.

I am a native speaker of Bulgarian and Russian, I have a fluent English and Italian. I understand French at advanced level (I am a translator from French into Bulgarian) and I can understand Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, and many of the Slavic languages (e.g. Polish).

I have experience working full-time for one of the largest and oldest Translation Agencies (Language Providers) in Bulgaria, as a translator for the European Parliament in Luxembourg; in a Social Computing and Crisis Computing research group and a Machine Translation and Arabic Language Technologies (Natural Language Processing) research group in a renown Computer Science Institute (QCRI). In NLP I have worked with various languages, including Arabic and Uyghur.
