Siena is where the highest level of Italian is spoken and taught (the Università Per Stranieri, internationally famous as the place to learn correct Italian pronunciation). As one of the Founders of the National Jazz Foundation, Siena Jazz, I am used to handling English terminology, as well as in my professional work with international musicians and singers. My own speaking voice is a well modulated baritone in the perfect unaccented Italian diction associated with Siena.
