I look forward to helping make your project sound it's very best! -Eli Fun bonus story on how I got started in Voiceover: While studying for my Audio Production degree, I briefly interned at the local radio station where I was put on the spot to read an impromptu radio ad. Now, as a kid, I loved to do impressions to make my siblings laugh but I wasn't good at it, I was just willing to make a fool of myself. But to my surprise, and the surprise of everyone else in the studio hoping to witness me crumble on air, I knocked it out of the park! The big guy in charge looked over at me, nodding, and told me that I've got "a voice" but I shrugged it off, thinking nothing of it, and forgot entirely about that event until almost 6 years later. After graduating and having moved across America, I began recording and editing audio on the announcement videos for the church I was attending. However, one week the voice talent didn't show up to record and I still needed to produce a video, so I recorded the announcements myself. Come Sunday morning, several people (which is a lot more than the usual none) were so intrigued to know who voiced the announcements as they were all so impressed. And once again, the guy in charge hit me with that phrase I had heard years before: "You got a voice". Taking the hint, I went on to do a few gigs for friends, friends of friends, and some local non-profits. Some of them even paid! Once that happened, I decided it was time to get a little more organized, and that's how I ended up on this site typing this true story at 2:05AM.
