    Hello I am Peter. I live in the Netherlands. From an early age I had an obsession with computers. So this is why I started 6 years ago doing some simple webdevelopment. I created simple sites for myself and my school projects, so I had a personal blog with all my old school projects. At this period I started doing a little freelancing. I created a very well working personal blog for a relative in my free time and earned this way my money. Not so much later I moved from using plain html and css, to php for making the sites. This was my first introduction to a real programming language. I liked coding and making my own things so much that I learned to use R and started to learn python. I really liked python because I was given the opportunity to automate so many things with just a few lines of code. And because I understood really well how websites worked, I learned how to make webscrapers very quickly after learning python basics. My knowledge about websites gave me the ability to understand what data the websites wanted to receive, and form my requests in a specific way as if I were a real human visiting this website. I used this knowledge to create many webscrapers and started doing freelancing as a data miner, scraping big amounts of data and parsing them to readable formats. After this I also made various websites using various python website development frameworks like flask and django. About a year and a half ago I started learning C++ because I wanted to understand how RAM works and how programs like python are optimized to use it as efficiently as possible. And I have made multiple windows programs using DirectX and Windows api libraries. This is also the time I started to gain an interest into data science. I built a neural network from scratch in C++, and later also in python. I did this because I wanted to understand the math that is used to calculate the output in neural networks. This is a very often occuring trait of mine. If I use something I want to understand the way it works from the most basic principles. This means that when I use a tool to complete a job, I understand really well how it works and all its uses.
