I have written my own novel, a mystery set in the south of France, so have knowledge of character arcs, plot points, dialogue etc. I'm currently entering my book into writing contests and am about to start querying literary agents.

I'll begin by gathering your full requirements to ensure I deliver exactly what you need.
I will continue to communicate with you throughout our project and will deliver high-quality work on time, with full tracked changes and comments on reasons for suggested changes where needed. You are in control the whole time and do not have to accept all/any of my suggestions!
I always carefully read through text at least twice to ensure I capture as many issues as possible.
I will produce a style sheet, unique to your project, that details style decisions made (including grammar, spelling and punctuation). If you are a fiction writer, the style sheet will also include a descriptive list of characters, locations and the time line of your book. This document will ensure consistency.
My rates strongly reflect the effort I will put into your project and the high quality of work I will produce. It takes time to painstakingly check copy for errors, flow, consistency and style standards; this work cannot be rushed. You cannot afford to pay low rates for editing; it equates to throwing money away as your copy will still be full of errors.
