My name is Salvador Matías Benitez, I am 46 years old, and I am an Argentine who lives in Buenos Aires. I started my Design studies at the University of Buenos Aires (FADU) in 1999, which I complemented with courses and workshops taught by the same faculty and other entities. I delved into the areas of Cinematography, Acting Direction, and Computer-Assisted Animation. I graduated as a Designer of Image and Sound in 2005. Around 2000, I started working at the production company EBTV as a producer, mainly for music-related products. We produced a program called Puerta V, dedicated to live concerts for Volver channel of ARTEAR, and we even made a 4-hour special for MTV and Rolling Stone magazine about the 100 best national rock songs. Towards the end of my career, and as a thesis, I began to investigate the relationship between image and music, their interaction and complement to provoke an emotion. I focused on electronic music, its logic, construction, and development, to replicate them in the language of images. At that time, the equipment was analog, and I began to mix live images with two VCRs and a video mixer. In 2003, along with a DJ friend, we started a DJ/VJ duo called Sinergia, with which we performed at various parties and seasons in Buenos Aires and Entre Ríos mainly. I also participated as a VJ with Puzzle at the Personal Fest 2004. And I made visuals for an American commercial for sports bras (Playtex). Between 2005 and 2010, I worked as a freelance video assembler for festivals, musical shows, events, and art exhibitions for different independent production companies. Among the most important, the International Festival of Buenos Aires, Palais de Tokyo in Buenos Aires, International Tango Festival, Tecnoescena, Buenos Aires Jazz Festival, BAFICI, Estudio Abierto, Folklore Buenos Aires, International Book Fair, Ricky Sarkany's parades, exhibitions at CC Recoleta, campaign for the presidency of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, among others. At that time, I also ventured into live camera direction for shows. Standout shows include those with Virus, Babasónicos, Yann Tiersen, Mimí Maura, Daniel Melero, Chaqueño Palavecino, Francisco Bochatón, Juana Molina, and Palo Pandolfo, among others. I also participated as a resident VJ at the 6th International Festival of Buenos Aires and the 9th BAFICI. In 2011, I ventured into developing visuals for rock bands, firstly with Los Coming Soon, an indie band, and later in 2016 for Lastronauta Orchesta, an instrumental funk band. In 2012, I worked for a few months at Magnética Films, as a video editor and motion grapher for institutional videos and advertising spots for brands such as Pepsico, Arcor, and Quilmes, but immediately after that, I started working as Program Live Director at Canal 26, a channel mainly dedicated to news programs, 24 hours. I still work there partially. In 2017, Sinergia got back together with new proposals, and we decided to rename it The Cachies. So we traveled in 2018 to the United States and did what we called the house route: Chicago, Detroit, and New York. In 2019, we got back together to perform at the renowned Café La Palma (Madrid). In 2019, I started a collaboration with Fran Di Gianni through the label Soulutions Records, for the creation of cover art, visuals, and social media spots for the EPs 1984 (2020) and Minimax (2020). I'll be fully committed with your project from start to finish. Communication is very important to that, so let's keep in touch!Windows AdministrationArt DirectionVideo Editing & ProductionCover Art DesignAlbum CoverVideo Post-EditingCameraAdobe IllustratorAdobe PhotoshopAdobe After Effects - $15 hourly
