My primary focus is custom eCommerce development, I'm good at a few e-commerce platforms and technical stacks: - Laravel, Yii, vanilla PHP - Node.js, Express, Electron (desktop apps development) - Ruby on Rails - MySQL, MariaDB - Sphinx, Elasticsearch - Redis, RabbitMQ - Docker - Magento1, Magento2 CE, EE - Wordpress, WooCommerce, Shopify And there are a few things I recently made with my team: - Free open-source time tracking software cattr.app Around a year ago, I faced numerous issues with the third-party time tracking software — some solutions haven't got the required functionality, some are too buggy for us, others are too expensive, so finally we decided to create our own solution which will cover all our needs. During this year, we've made around a hundred releases of our Cattr Core Application (Laravel API and Angular frontend then Vue frontend), wrote two different client applications (old one on Kotlin/JVM, current one on Electron). - Realtime backup system for e-commerce. We've created an application that allows shop owners to easily set up a backup for their orders, products, and customers. In case of critical site issues, while support service or IT division working on repairment, the sales team can continue working with existing orders without any downtime via our application. This application is built to provide the lowest latency possible, so we've created a multi-tier distributed architecture, including hot and cold data flows, live vertical scaling and other techniques. Project technology stack is Node.js, Nginx, RabbitMQ, Docker, MongoDB. Our internal workflows fully based on Gitlab, starting from issue tracking, branching, and milestones (depends on the client requirements, we're using our SCRUM implementation or OpenUP-like methodology), continuing with Continuous Integration + Continuous Delivery/Deployment, and finishing with the releases and error tracking using Sentry integration.

I prefer full-time long-term work, mostly as backend developer (PHP, Perl, Typescript), have experience with frontend, but tasks like "draw something, create web website from PDF are definitely not for me. Currently working in QIMA. I have some AWS experience. Please check this website: mi-home.pro Based on AWS Amplify, it uses Next.js and Tailwind.css on frontend, and microservices and complex Lambda-functions, communicating by SQS queues, DynamoDB and GraphQL on backend. Design, content, AWS infrastructure are all made by me there. More than 15 years in IT. PHP programmer since 2009. Latest big contracts (updated on Aug, 2022): - 3+ years full-time work with Tymeshift (via Upwork). Started with Yii1 + JQuery, project was moved to microservices, Laravel on backend, and React (Typescript, Redux, Redux-saga, styled components, jest, Figma etc) on frontend, Jest as testing suite. Last 2 years my main work there was "Zendesk plugin", rather complex Javascript app, which I've moved to Typescript and React (this app uswd full day a huge number of customers. So, if code had minor error which can happen with almost zero probability, somebody of customers got it in first minutes after deploy) . Also fixed urgent bugs in legacy Yii code and took a part in Laravel API development. The feature of the project was giant MySQL DB on prod and highly loaded backend. Any small mistake in SQL query or in the BE code was super critical. - since end of 2021 worked for QIMA (via Upwork) on "data engineer" position. Mostly Perl programming, less - Python (Flask) API updates, some help with CI on Github for the project, code reviews. Both projects required Docker knowledge and regular voice/video meetings in English (in Tymeshift sometimes it took up to 4 hours per day, honestly I cannot say what I was happy from that) My skills: - Perl - Typescript - Laravel (cannot say what big expert, worked on API and some global improvements at Tymeshift) - API development - python - webpack - node.js (express.js) - docker - javascript (ES6) - PHP - more than 7 years experience, up to 7.2; - Yii framework (1.x and 2) - JQuery, Backbone js, ajax - MySQL database development & administration - Twitter bootstrap - CodeIgniter - Joomla - Android development (one of my apps - play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mollnia.app) - ability do minor changes in ready android apps even when source is unavailable (localization of apk, remove something bugs - guess you have rights to this apk :) ) - Delphi 7 - MS SQL Server 2000 (administration, database development and administration) - Visual C++ (installed VC 2015 with CUDA 8) - Assembler x86 - Assembler PTX - Nvidia CUDA programming What I cannot do: any visual design / web design. Only programming.
