We are a small non-profit business operating only in the state of Colorado. We are looking for a seasoned grant writer with expertise in grant writing. We are in good standing with the IRS and have a CPA that audits us quarterly. Right now we have a lot of work coming in but not enough man power to complete the task nor the budget to hire more on. We are not in the red and have always been in the green. We are not looking for grants to bail us out but to grow and expand to hire more skillful-ed workers on. We currently dont even have an office which we are trying to get one eventually. We are looking to acquire grants from $10k - $100k. Our background is amateur youth sports. The nature of our business is sub-contracting sports officials to inner city middles schools that are well within the poverty guidlines (free and/or reduiced lunch). We have over 80 clients/middle schools who we accommodate. We also provide sports officials to many more non-profit entities that require sports officials. The sports officials we contract out are strictly contractors. We fall short of the man power to invoice the schools basically having a FT employee to run and operate our accounts receivable, we also are short of a nights and weekend supervisor to handle the after hours. Some notable things we do is hire HS and college kids year round, which we also conduct on the job training, mock interviews, and resume building. If you can help in this area we would love to have you apply. Instead of an hourly rate we would like to write up a contract for a commissioned per grant obtained.
