We are developing a series of Modules which will be incorporated in a Programme which is maritime/shipping related. The same Modules will also be offered as standalone e-learning courses on our Open edX LMS.
Each Module will consist of about 20 hours of learning in total. At least 8 hours of this will be lecture videos and the remaining 12 hours will be in the form of tests, end of topic assessments, case studies and tutorials.
We are working with subject matter experts who will provide PowerPoint slides with notes, video or voice recordings as if they were presenting to an audience and the various end of topic test/quiz questions and other resources, links etc.
We would like to convert the above into really engaging and visually appealing eLearning courses with your creative input and ideas.
We expect to start getting content from mid April/early May and the SMEs will continue to supply content every 2 weeks until the end of June. I have a sample of a PowerPoint presentation at this stage, so you can let us know if it works for you or if you need something else or a different format etc.
The work described above is for 2 Modules, but later in May, we will start on another 2 Modules, if you are available and would like to take those on as well.
