Looking for an applied mathematician who is competent in calculating and transforming 3D coordinates from frame to frame.
An example would be:
Where the first number is a frameID counter, following 12 numbers are for CS1 in format X,Y,Z followed by a 3by3 rotation matrix (column-major order): same again for the second coordinate space (CS2).
The 2 positions are of the same scale (meters) and represent a fixed world position although neither positions will be completely accurate.
As a test we want a candidate who can provide a simple algorithm to calculate the homogenous transform matrix for any of these position pairs that are related by the fact they both represent a real world position. The coordinate space of the first frame matrix changes from session to session and is not well defined, hence needing an on the fly calculation of the 4by4 transform matrix for any pair.
For the successful candidate there will be an opportunity for full time work to continue building a Kalman filter to take in multiple samples and provide a better estimated transform.
