My name is Brandon and I'm the founder of composeclick.com. I'm looking to bring a few contributors into the fold to write educational articles on photography.
To begin with, these articles will usually answer a simple question and will be relatively short, at around 500 words. I'm looking for photographers who can write concisely and provide a lot of educational value without the unneeded fluff.
This photography writing gig is FOR:
-Photographers who happen to like writing about it
-If you want to be recognized for your work (i.e. use your real name, avatar and be credited for your work with a byline and link to your website and other work)
-If you are passionate about photography
It's NOT for:
-If you want to remain anonymous. This is not a ghost writing kind of deal
-If you just want to get a link to your site. Although there will be a byline where we can link to your site at the end of the articles, it shouldn't be your primary motivation; educating fellow photographers should be
-General writers who have no experience with photography. This job is for knowledgeable, experienced photographers
These articles will be run through copyscape. These will be one-off articles for now but if we work well together there is potential for long term work.
When submitting your proposal please provide a link to your photography website and any previous photography writing you've done.
I look forward to hearing from you and working together!
