I am looking for a sales professional to make phone calls to Indianapolis, Indiana local small businesses to set sales appointments to sell print advertising in three local print magazines. Compensation is $440/week to schedule 15 qualified appointments per five-day work week. Historically it takes up to 20 hours per week to accomplish that.
The first payment will be made in 2 weeks after the end of the first work week. All the following payments will be made right after the end of the work week. There is a possibility of full-time freelance employment.
Qualified appointments are appointments that are scheduled with persons that had expressed interest in buying print advertising and are decision makers or persons that directly communicate with decision makers. The appointment needs to take place at prospects’ business offices, except – see * Exceptions below.
- Make a minimum of 40 calls per work day
- Call only during regular work days and hours: Mon – Fri, 9am - 5pm Eastern Standard Time
- Leave voice messages for each phone call (if person is not reached)
- Email follow up email message after each phone call
- Collect and update contact names and emails of prospects if not provided
- Log all daily activities into CRM
- Learning, research time and phone conversations with our company are not compensated.
- Email daily report on number of phone calls made, appointments scheduled to our company
- If not able to call on any particular day, we need to be notified 5 work days in advance.
Requirements for scheduling appointments:
- Schedule appointments only at prospects’ business offices. *Exception could be made only if a business does not have a physical office. In that case, you need to obtain business owners’ mobile phone number.
- Verify appointment address and contact person’s email
- Block out a time for the appointment on our calendar
- Email appointment details info to our company: Appointment date and time; person’s name, phone number and email; meeting address.
- Only native English speaking
- Requires Indianapolis phone number (317) code. Could be arranged with Google Voice.
- Experience in advertising sales preferred, but not required
- Must be results oriented and have a record of success working in a result-oriented, highly accountable environment
- Well-developed technological skills (PC, Internet, MS Office, CRM, Mobile)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
