I have quite messy storage of data files (can be XML, CSV, whatever) and I would like to implement very basic archiving process which will:
1. archive files from source to archiving folders
2. retrieve data from archiving folders back to some location on demand
The base configuration for archiving records is available in file: ArchivingConfiguration.xlsx.
More detailed analysis is available in second file: Archiving policy v0.1.docx.
I will provide testing data, project should be based on Maven build system with Test cases.
I use github for maintaining the code.
NOTE: Although solution is very specific, it should work in generic way.
=== PROPOSAL ===
There exists solution called Areca Backup which actually has most of the capabilities already working, so maybe we can just extend it to have some nex capabilities (although it is not based on JavaFX, it should work just fine and I think it is covering about 60-80% of the functionalities required). Maybe we can just migrate it to Maven build system and implement few extensions and thats it.
NOTE 2: The budget is for discussion
