Full accounting integration, document management, and leveraging the technology for operations is necessary. Historically, rent has been received and expenses have been paid via Venmo and BoA BillPay. There is currently no proper accounting system in place and I have to painfully reconcile/categorize/assign all transactions by property come tax time. Buildium has been purchased and in-use for several years; however, only income has historically been recorded in the software and we are not utilizing it well at all. Must be a Buildium expert with significant accounting/CPA background. Potential consideration for quickbooks in addition, if necessary, but need someone specifically experienced with Buildium system creation. Potential for ongoing bookkeeping work as well.
