I am looking for someone skilled in CAD or Sketch-up design. It's extremely important that you be very comfortable working from vague drawings, as I have a very clear idea of what I want, but little-to-no graphical talent for communicating said idea.

But, I'll give it a try.

I've got a design in my head for a small clip that could be carried in one's wallet. It would be about the size and thickness of two credit cards on top of each other.

One part, the clip, would be a rounded piece of plastic, which, at the ends would be less than 1" apart. That is, it could clip onto something 1" in width without difficultly or feeling loose. Additionally, there's a large notch cut out of the clip part right at the top/curved area.

The other part, the sled, would help to keep the rounded clip part flat when tucked into a wallet. I'm not sure how this would be achieved - your chance to help with ideas! - but imagine there would be some tracks along the edge of the sled, along with perhaps some sort of button or notch the clip would snap into.

I'm not knowledgeable about materials at all, but I am hopeful there's a plastic that exists such that the clip would be created to hold the curved shape, while the sled could help "snap" it flat while stored.

I've attached a rather crude (sorry!) illustration of how I envision it would look, but again, I'm not much of an artist.

Thank you.
