This job will require you to access census records and our own spreadsheet of information from a factory in the early 1900s. The aim is to consolidate the information for each person, matching the census record with the data from the factory, and entering it into a new spreadsheet with an emphasis on future data evaluation. So for each name in our spreadsheet, you will have to find that person in the census, and enter the data found there into the new spreadsheet.
The project itself does not require skills beyond basic computer literacy, but we do ask that you be methodical and detail-oriented.
If selected, we will ask you to do a few results first (you will still be paid), just so everything is consistent, and then we will hire you for the rest of the job pending we sort out any problems. Please feel free to ask any questions.
