Seeking ColdFusion Developer with three or more years experience for application development and support.
We are a software development firm currently in process of multiple client implementations for our financial services product. In addition to proven ColdFusion experience, we would prefer substantial expertise with SQL Server and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will also have financial industry background, particularly in the card services and/ or payment processing field. Exposure to third party interfaces such as MATCH, LexisNexis, Satori, Equifax, Experian or TransUnion puts you on the short list.
Must be able to define and stick to a pre-determined schedule of availability, and must be willing to attend online meetings, participate in conference calls and work together with other developers iteratively and interactively.
Must have excellent communication skills, verbally and via chat/ email. Must be able to work from design specifications, and engage in proposing intelligent solutions to business and technical problems. Must have the ability to properly estimate work and meet deadlines and schedules.
This opportunity will start as a short term contract. If you are able to demonstrate proficiency in the necessary skill sets, show accountability and responsibility with meeting your estimates and completing work, display professionalism with clients, and work successfully with the other members of the team, this position can develop into a long-term steady position with the opportunity for advancement in the company.
