Here's a good job offer for newcomers who need to bulge up their portfolios. In a few days, I'll have a new illustration that was made by a very good artist I recently worked together with. It's basically a picture about the world of fairytales. Now it only needs to be colored so that it can shine properly.
And that’s where you come in: To do the next step *before* the illustration finally gets colored in what I call the "Disney-style".
I need that line art illustration digitally colored. The illustration must be colored in a simple yet bright style that is vibrant and pops from the page. Later on, somebody will use your cel shading colored version of the illustration as a base to work his coloring magic in a complexer, reminiscent of the coloring applied to Disney DVD covers, coloring style.
I attached a low-resolution version of the illustration here to this job description, so that you can see what illustration you'll work on. But when you start work, you'll get the original, finished, high-resolution, layered PSD files to work with, in pure black and white, and without logo.
I need the finished, colored illustration in high-resolution TIFF, layered PSD and scaleable AI formats.
The job should be finished within two weeks after we start work. (But remember, the sooner we finish this project, the sooner I can pay and feedback you!)
When you apply for this job, please attach an old coloring sample (made earlier, before you found this job), so that I can see that you're the right person for this job.
Upon payment, both the editable source files (the finished AI, TIFF and PSD files) and all rights to the colored version of the line art go to me. Budget is limited to 5$ for the job, but a positive (and detailed) feedback is assured.
But the feedback is NOT considered part of the payment. It is something I give customarily for a well-done job, my way of giving back for the good job that was done for me.
And it has proven on other places to be a BIG help in getting new work for designers.
Okay, looking forward to your bids. Don't forget to answer the project questions and Good Luck!
